Clifton is excited about his latest project, the new feature film, WORTH (Dir: Sara Colangelo) where he worked alongside Michael Keaton and Tate Donovan. The film was selected to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020.

Upcoming films include The Unborn (Dir: Tal Lazar), I Fell In Love With The World and Giving Birth To A Butterfly (Dir: Ted Schaefer).

Prior, Clifton worked alongside Channing Tatum in the film, Hail, Caesar! (Dir: Coen Bros). He also appeared in the 2014 remake of Columbia Pictures' Annie (Dir: Will Gluck).

TV credits include Boardwalk Empire (HBO), The Blacklist (NBC), Younger (TV Land), Friends of the People (TruTV) and guest star appearances on two web series: Alphabet Boys & One Degree of Ms. D.

On Broadway, The Kennedy Center and The Ahmanson, Clifton appeared opposite the late Jan Maxwell in the Tony and Grammy nominated revival of Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES (Dir: Eric Schaefer). The cast included Bernadette Peters, Ron Raines, Danny Burstein, Jayne Houdyshell and Mary Beth Piel. He also appeared in the original Broadway company of Amazing Grace (Dir: Gabe Barre) at the Nederlander Theatre.

Off-Broadway, Clifton was a part of the world premiere play The Beast in the Jungle (Dir: Susan Stroman) at the Vineyard Theatre. He also originated the role of “Dean Taylor” in The Crusade of Connor Stephens at the Jerry Orbach Theatre where it became the first off-Broadway play to be live-streamed. Other Off-Broadway credits include STIFF (The Barrow Group), Storyville (The York Theatre Company, OCC Nomination-Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical) and Twilight- The Unauthorized Parody at New World Stages.

Clifton began his professional career in the 1st National Tour of Urban Cowboy. He then toured the US, Canada & Japan with the 1st National Broadway Revival of A Chorus Line (Dir: Bob Avian/Baayork Lee).

He resides in Manhattan with his wife Regina, daughter Liza and spunky pup, Reggie.
